Visa trouble halt Kwesi Arthur’s Summer show

It has been announced by Ghanaian artiste Kwesi Arthur that his performance at the Summer Out concert in Barcelona will not proceed as scheduled.

The announcement was made on X on Friday, August 16, where it was indicated that visa acquisition issues are being faced by the artiste, leading to his inability to attend the concert on Saturday, August 17.

Kwesi Arthur stated that efforts are currently being made by his team to rectify the situation. Despite the unfortunate circumstances, Ghanaians in Spain were urged by him to still attend the concert, as other artistes, including Kofi Mole, will be performing in his absence.

In his tweet, he expressed his regret by saying, “It saddens me to inform you that I will not be able to perform at Summerout in Barcelona tomorrow due to visa issues. My team and I are doing everything we can to rectify this unfortunate situation.”

The support for the other performers at the event was encouraged by Kwesi Arthur, who emphasized that the show would still go on despite his absence.

“My brothers will be performing at the show regardless and I urge you guys to go show your support for them,” he tweeted.

He further mentioned that new dates for his “Euro takeover” tour would soon be announced.

The Summer Out concert had been announced by Kwesi Arthur in a post on X on July 16, where a flyer was shared, featuring not only himself but also highlighting the participation of another Ghanaian music star, Kofi Mole.

The announcement had initially been met with excitement by fans and Ghanaians, as it represented another significant milestone in Kwesi Arthur’s career.
