Vodafone CEO Commends Gov’t for Stabilizing Economy

The Chief Executive Officer of Vodafone, Ms. Yolanda Cuba, has commended government for stabilizing economy through good policy implementation.

According to her, for the past 8 months under the NPP government the economy has been stable and its good for business.

Ms. Yolanda made this statement as a panel member at the KPMG Budget Forum organized in Accra on Monday.

“This year I will say that government has scored eight out of ten. This is because in the last eight months I have been able to focus on my business. For me this is a stable economic environment because everything I put in my budget is moving as I expected”, she said.

Ms Cuba further encouraged government to be aggressive in implementing the 2018 policy initiatives proposed in the budget.

“If you are saying that you want to reduce the cost of doing business, I want it today, yesterday, and not the day after. Tell me how you are going to do it. I am looking forward to an aggressive implementation of this policies”, she said.
