Urban Gospel singer, Jonn Winner, after bagging the Best International Act award at the just-ended Ghana Urban Gospel Awards, has released a new video to celebrate the feat and also encourage others.
The song, titled “Odo,” was inspired by the death of his dad who was the breadwinner of the family.
“We’ve come this far by faith. From the day we took off us a team, there has been one prayer point we never miss in our meetings and that’s the oil of excellence (Daniel 6 :1-3). As much as we took spiritual, steps we also worked physically for prophesy to be fulfilled. We did a major international collaboration on one of our projects (CALL HIM) which gained massive attention on the international platform. It happened to be one of the biggest projects so far us the gospel industry and the urban gospel fraternity is concerned,” he stated.
“We went ahead to shoot Gospel music videos out of Ghana (I can’t imagine – South Africa, Big God – Mauritius, ‘Call him – DUBAI) to enhance the mileage we projected. We are here today to acknowledge your luv and support over the years even when the road didn’t look clear. THE BEST INTERNATIONAL ACT OF THE YEAR of the GHANA URBAN GOSPEL MUSIC AWARDS means everything to us because it is prophecy been fulfilled. It is sending us a signal of the bigger picture (BET GOSPEL and the GRAMMY)” he added
The video was shot by young and talented video director, Boldz.
