We Can Produce 100 Human Heads
...Boy Killers tell Mallam
THE MALLAM, whose intervention has led to the arrest of the two boys, who infamously beheaded a 7-year-old boy in Kumasi and offered the head for sale has broken his silence over the matter.
Sheikh Alhaji Mohammed has given a chilling report about how the two suspects, now firmly in police grips, bragged that they could produce 100 fresh human heads within a day if he (Mallam) would guarantee to buy them.
He also disclosed that the two suspects agreed to sell the human head for GH¢ 2,500, adding that they (suspects) produced the fresh head of a 7-year-old boy, which had been cut less than two hours earlier.
He further indicated that one of the suspects even tried taking away his (Mallam’s) life, whist they were negotiating the price of the head, because the suspect feared that he (Mallam) was setting him up.
Explaining further, Sheikh Alhaji Mohammed said he was in his house at Sokoban Ampeyuo a few days ago when someone, who claimed to be at Boligatanga, called him and requested to see him, which he agreed.
Within five minutes, he recounted, the same person called again saying that he was rather in Kumasi and that they are two boys, who urgently want to discuss an important issue with him.
The Mallam said the two boys eventually showed up in his house at Sokoban Krofrom but surprisingly the boys were jittery when he met them and so they could not discuss that important issue with him.
According to him, the boys rather said they wanted to get fabulously rich overnight, even though they were not working, a demand he (Mallam) said was impossible.
He said the boys, after leaving his place, called on phone and this time disclosed to him that they dealt in human parts and so if he Mallam wanted a fresh human head to buy they could deliver to him.
Sheikh Alhaji Mohammed said he feigned interest in the deal and afterwards informed the police, who told him (Mallam) to convince the boys to visit his house with the so-called human head so they could be nabbed.
According to him, one of the boys eventually visited him in his house at Sokoban Ampeyuo on the evening of Wednesday, March 7, 2018, with the human head, which was being sold for a paltry sum of GH¢ 2,500.
He said whilst they were negotiating over the price of the head, the suspect tried to kill him (Mallam) after one of the doors in the house got banged.
“He threatened to kill me over suspicion that I have called the police to arrest him and I told him that the noise of the gate was made by my wife so I had to call my wife to the room before this boy would feel comfortable.
“I even came out from the room to the outside with him for him to double check and see that I was not setting him up”, he said on radio, adding “all this while, I had called the police and they were on their way to my house”.
The soothsayer said the police eventually popped up in his house and arrested one of the suspects, who then led the police to arrest his other accomplice in his hideout in Kumasi.
