Wear Only Approved Face Mask

The public is cautioned to always wear approved face mask to protect them against the deadly COVID-19.

Health Minister, Kwaku Agyeman Manu, who gave the advice, said the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has approved some face masks that meets the requisite specifications.

According to him, face masks that have been approved by the FDA have the potential to protect the user (person) against the dangerous virus.

In this regard, the Health Minister explained the need for the public to wear the FDA certified face masks in order not to jeopardise their health.

Several people, notably tailors, have turned into manufacturers of face mask since the President announced for the public to wear face mask.

Some health experts have warned that wearing unapproved face masks could end up rather jeopardising the health of the user.

The Health Minister, who was preaching to the people to always wear a face mask, said the FDA approved face masks are safe to wear.

Agyeman Manu announced that the government would distribute free face masks for section of the people in order to protect them against the virus.

“The government’s free distribution of face mask would not be enough therefore I am appealing to the well-to-do in society to also help in this regard”.

Agyeman Manu also admonished the public to always make it a point to burn used face masks in order to prevent the spread of the deadly COVID-19.’
