DopeNation made up of Micheal Boafo, popularly known as B2, and Tony Boafo, known as Twist is looking forward to having a record with dancehall artiste Shatta Wale.
They told host of Okay FM’s ‘Best Entertainment Show’, Halifax Ansah-Addo that after working on several projects for Shatta Wale, they are yet to meet him for a record.
“This is our first time meeting Bulldog, he’s like an icon to us. We’ve been producing for a lot of artistes, since we were in school. We produced for a lot of artistes but we hardly saw them, Shatta Wale happened to be one of the musicians we produced for, we used to vibe with him on Whatsapp until we lost his contact. So we pleading to Bulldog here to make it happen for us so we meet Wale, it will be a dream come true” Twist said.
Bulldog who was in the same studio with the former Lynx Entertainment signee accepted the offer and pledged of making it happen.
“They don’t need to beg for this, they deserve that. It would happen soon. This week is possible but I have to check from Shatta’s secretariat to see his meetings and rounds for today.”
The group first Breakthrough was Eish, even though they enjoyed considerable success with their 2017 single ‘Uh Huh’.
They have worked with Nigerian star Olamide, E.L on songs whiles they have produced songs for Eazzy, Tinny, Edem, Pappy Kojo and many more.
