We’ll Make Ghana Ungovernable For Nana Addo if…

True Drivers Association has hinted out that they will Organize series of Demonstration against Nana Addo’s government in case he decided to increase Value Added Tax ( VAT).

However, Speaking to Okwawu Midday Newe,Yaw Barima,Public Relation Officer for True Drivers Association, Lambasted that aside the Demo they will make Ghana Ungovernable for Nana Addo’s government if by Thursday after Finance Minister Mid_year review brief in the floor of parliament, finance minister dare increase VAT, “we will not only Demonstrate against Nana Addo’s Addministration but rather will make Ghana Uncomfortable for him also.

According to him ,if Government by Thursday increase VAT from 17.5% to 21.5% Drivers will suffer most therefore they will not fold their ‘Arms in between their legs’ and watch Government to bring these Killer Tax to Ghanaians.

Again, Yaw Barima said this is a warning from True Drivers Association to the Government.

“We are sounding this as a warning to the Government to desist from Increasing VAT” He stated”.

Ahead of the mid-year budget yet to be announced by Finance Minister, Mr Ken Ofori Attah tomorrow July 19,2018,there has been news of possibly tax increment by the government.

However communicators especially Deputy Minister of Information Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has debunked such assertions raised by some session of the public and that of Minority in parliament.
