We’re Committed to Food Security – US Embassy

The United States embassy in Ghana has said the US is committed to food security in Ghana.

To that end, the embassy said Ghanaian youth are being empowered to acquire agricultural entrepreneurial skills as a way of boosting food security in the country.

The embassy, in Facebook post on Tuesday, 17 April, said: “We are committed to the future of food security by empowering young people with agricultural entrepreneurial skills.

“With our support, School Farms is undertaking a community school feeding support program that empowers schools to grow their own food and gain practical skills in Agriculture. In which ways do you think more young people can be encouraged to take interest in agriculture?”
