Residents of Ho, the Volta Regional capital, woke up Friday morning to a disturbing news of road blocks from members of secessionist group, Homeland Study Foundation, also known as Western Togoland group.
It was the handiwork of members of the secessionist group who have stepped up their illegal activities in their push for a Western Togoland out of Ghana.
The action by the group which was taken place on the dawn of Friday, September 25, 2020 left passengers travelling to areas in the Volta Region including Tefle, Tsopoli and Juapong stranded.
Thepublisheronline.com understands Armed Police and Military officers have been deployed to the scene.
Since 2019, security agents have mounted a coordinated manhunt for Papavi, the man behind the so-called breakaway from Ghana of the Volta Region and some parts of the Northern and Upper East regions.
