Widows Get Xmas Gifts from Despite

Thousands of widows and single parents within the Greater Accra region and its environs, on Thursday, each received a special Christmas gift package which contained live fowls, bags of rice, vegetable oils and assorted Neat Foods and Special products, courtesy Despite Media and Special Groups of Companies.

On the same day, the two mega companies sponsored free transportation for residents of Accra. The companies rented several ‘Ayalolo’ and Metro Mass Buses which drove through the major streets of Accra and gave free bus rides to persons who wished to join.

The decision to give the gifts to the widows was to reduce their financial burdens this yuletide season.

The gesture was part of their Corporate Social Responsibility.

Despite Media and Special Groups of Companies have over the years maintained the annual charity give away and keep increasing the package annually.
