Black Stars goalkeeper, Joseph Wollacott joined the Black Star’s team camp in Qatar on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 to motivate his teammates ahead of the game against Portugal.
Wollacott who did not make the final 26-man squad for the World Cup due to injury will meet up with the team to support them in their opening game against Portugal.
The 26-year old who was crucial to Ghana’s World Cup qualification missed out on the chance to feature in his first World Cup.
The Black Stars will open their campaign against Portugal at the 971 Stadium in Doha on Thursday, November 24 at 4pm.
Ghana will later take on South Korea and Uruguay in the other Group H matches.
Meanwhile Afriyie Barnieh, Joseph Aidoo, and Jordan Ayew grabbed the headlines on Photo Day for the team.
After arriving in Qatar, members of the Black Stars playing body and technical team took turn turns taking photos for official use in the tournament.
