Woman loses gold chains to robbers

A WOMAN at Pankrono Estate near Kumasi has suffered the ordeal of losing her precious valuables including gold chains and jewelries to robbers.

A police report sighted by THE NEW PUBLISHER said Joyce Okyere, the victim, was attacked by the hoodlums in her house around 11pm on April 10, 2022.

The robbers, numbering three, forcibly broke into the house and they had a field’s day as they made away with every valuable item on sight.

Items such as expensive gold chains, flat screen television sets, assortment of mobile phones, money and other valuables were stolen.

The victim, accompanied by another person, reported the robbery case to the police, who have since started investigations to arrest the runaway robbers.

“They called at Tafo Pankrono station and reported that, on 10/04/22 at 11.00 pm, three young men, welding an axe, a machete and a pistol, broke into her room and made away with the following items.

“One iPhone 12PRO, valued at GHC 8,000, two iPAD TABLET phones, value not yet known, two infinix Hot5 mobile phone value unknown, three flat screen television sets, sizes ,58,48 and 42, all value unknown”.

“Gold chains, jewelries, pieces of clothes, value unknown, a ‘Susu’ box, containing unspecified amount of money were stolen”, the report stated.
