Wontumi Backs Nana B

HENRY NANA Boakye, aka ‘Nana B’s hope of succeeding Sammi Awuku as the New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Youth Organizer, has received a lifeline.

A top guru in the elephant family, Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasoako, known in political circles as ‘Wontumi’, has declared his unflinching support for him.

“I am throwing my support for Lawyer Nana B because he has what it takes, including the expertise, knowledge and vision to be NPP national youth organizer.

“Lawyer Nana B has served the NPP in various ways and forms, which started from his days in the school, especially the KNUST in Kumasi.

“In fact, Nana B has gone through the mill and I am cock sure that he has now matured and ready to serve the party as the national youth organizer”, Wontumi said.

He said the current NPP national youth organizer, Sammi Awuku, is an intelligent person, who has taken the national youth organizer position to higher heights.

In this regard, he opined that the party needs a hard-working and visionary person like Nana B to properly fill the wide vacuum that Sammi Awuku’s absence would create.

“We are very lucky to have an equally competent person like Sammi Awuku and that person is Nana B, therefore I am giving him my total support.

“I will also entreat every member of our dear party, who wishes that the NPP retains political power with ease in 2020, to also support Nana B”, he said.
