WONTUMI CHARGES NPP YOUTH

THE ASHANTI Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, has tasked the youth wing of the party to work hard and secure political victory for the party in 2020.

According to him, the leadership of the party is expecting more from the NPP youth wing to help it retain political power.

In this regard, Boasiako, popularly known in political circles as ‘Wontumi’, has stressed on the need for the entire NPP youth wing to unite and campaign vigorously ahead of the next polls.

He was speaking during the 2019 Ashanti Regional NPP Youth Conference and Inauguration, which was themed ‘Strengghening the Youth Front, Sustaining Power’, over the weekend.

According to him, the NPP has decided to approach the impending national polls with all the seriousness needed so that the party would retain political power and sustain its good policies.

He noted that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s administration had done more than enough within just two years in political office to better the lives of the citizenry, and predicted that the NPP would retain power in 2020.

“Nobody, including the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), can stop the NPPs impending political victory in 2020”, Wontumi stated, attracting wild applause from the crowd.
