Wontumi’s Ferrari Causes Stir

A SHORT video of Bernard Antwi Boasiako aka ‘Wontumi’, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has caused a lot of stir in Kumasi.

In the video, which had since gone viral on social media, Wontumi was seen displaying his lavish self as he comfortably sat in his expensive Ferrari while some party supporters chanted his name and showered praises on him.

Also in the car was another top NPP member, Kofi Jumah, who is a former NPP Member of Parliament (MP) for Asokwa constituency.

The NPP chairman was then seen picking a bag from the back seat of the car, which was reportedly laden with dollars.

Wontumi, after opening the bag of money, said he would punish Asare Bediako, who had then expressed interest to contest him in a recent poll.

The luxurious car had a registration number CW 1-18. Some of his fans say CW is the acronym for ‘Chairman Wontumi’.

From the look of things, the video was recorded prior to the Ashanti Regional NPP executive elections, which took place at Ejura recently.
