Yahaya, Hearts Talks in Deadlock
ACCRA HEARTS Oak could not reach a deal with former Kotoko player, Yahaya Mohammed, on Wednesday, the paper is aware.
Information reaching THE PUBLISHER SPORTS indicates that the two parties held a crunch meeting in Accra on Wednesday, but after several hours of talks, there was no breakthrough for the Phobians, who were eager to sign on Yahaya.
Sources at the meeting disclosed that even though the player has agreed to register and feature for Hearts during the next season, the duration of the contract is so far the unsolved problem.
Hearts of Oak reportedly wanted to sign on Yahaya Mohammed for three years, but the player, on the other hand, wanted to register with Hearts for just one-season. Sources say talks are still in progress.
