Yammin Turns Man of God
…Soon To Start His Own Church
IT MAY sound unbelievable but it is true that top politician, Joseph Yammin, is now a fully-baked Reverend Minister, a preacher of God’s word and a soul winner for God’s kingdom.
The outspoken National Democratic Congress (NDC) member, who was a former deputy Sports Minister and later deputy Ashanti Regional minister, has successfully completed the Crio Bible School at Sepease Mim, near Kumasi.
The Crio Bible School is an affiliate of the Life Community Church School, based in the United States of America (USA), Rev. Yammin told THE PUBLISHER in an interview.
Rev. Yammin, who was ordained a pastor in August 2017, said he is eager to get more knowledge about the word of God so he could preach the word and win souls.
He revealed that he was supposed to have started his Masters in Ministry Course at the Christian Bible College in Accra in February 2018, but the start of the programme had delayed.
The ex-deputy Sports Minister said he would continue to invest his time and money into his quest for more knowledge about God’s word so that he would be a perfect preacher of the gospel.
Christian Life
Yammin indicated that he had been a staunch Christian for most of his life, disclosing that he started his evangelism work way back in 1993.
According to him, even though God had used him to win many souls for His Kingdom in the last 25 years, he decided to keep a low profile on his evangelism duties because he did not want the public attach politics to it.
Present Plan
Rev. Yammin said he would not get into full-time ministry now due to his political life and other private duties but added that he would willingly accept invitation from interested churches to preach God’s word to their congregation, as he had done in the past 25 years.
Christian Life
Yammin, worships with the Mount Zion Presby Church at Asuoyeboa in Kumasi and was an elder of the church for eight years.
Advice To Pastors
He said he always made sure that he didn’t allow his political affiliation with the NDC to influence in his preaching whenever he mounted the pulpit and advised fellow Men of God to always separate politics from God’s work.
