A TEENAGE boy has done a commendable thing as he has donated quantities of food items to feed the residents of the Accra Rehabilitation Center.
The youngster, Arnav Nambiar, is the founder of ‘Limitless Ghana’, a Non-Profit Organization (NGO) that has been supporting the vulnerable.
He donated several bags of quality rice and boxes of cocoa beverages, just to mention a few, to help inmates of the Accra Rehabilitation Center.
According to him, the COVID-19 pandemic had deepened hardship and also created discomfort for the people, notably the vulnerable so he decided to help.
Arnav was involved in an accident, which confined him in a wheelchair and crutches for some time before he eventually regained fitness.
Based on his experience, Arnav, a high school student of the Lincoln Community School, in 2018, decided to form the Limitless foundation to help the disabled.
His good works was recognised by the National Paralympic Committee, who made him Ambassador of the Ghana Paralympic team for the Tokyo Olympics.
According to Arnav, his latest donation, aside helping the beneficiaries, is also intended to create awareness about people living with disabilities in Ghana.
The teenager, who has a golden heart to support the vulnerable and the disabled in society, said he is praying fervently for the COVID-19 to disappear,
According to him, the COVID-19 pandemic had caused immense difficulties to the people, especially the disabled “and he will continue to assist them”.
