Yvonne Okoro Donates To Yikurugu D/A School

Actress Yvonne Okoro has donated an amount of 2,600 dollars to help buy desks for pupils in Yikurugu D/A School, in the Upper West Region.

Speaking to the media after making the donation, the actress said she did that as part of her contribution to help these students to become better students in future.

A recent report by Ghone showed the pupils of the school laying on their stomach during teaching hours.

The uncomfortable challenge made the EIB network appeal to the general public to help buy desks for the school.

Since then, there has been donations from John Dumelo, Fella Makafui, Dusk Capital, amongst others.
