Zylofon Arts Fund Board Visits Kumasi
Interacts With Stakeholders
The Board for the Zylofon Arts Fund is working assiduously to give reprieve to an ailing industry by giving loans to industry players to revive and initiate projects that would benefit the arts industry.
In line with its main objective, the Board, under the guide of its Advisor, Socrate Safo, visited Kumasi to enlighten the industry stakeholders on the rudiments, structure and benefits of the Zylofon Arts Fund.
With Kumasi tagged as the home of ‘Kumawood’ – the local film-making hub, the Board also engaged the major players in that industry on how it (Kumawwod) can be revived after its recent struggles.
It had fruitful interactions with movie directors, producers, scriptwriters, marketers, distributors and other technical persons within the industry.
Speaking on Zylofon 102.1FM on the Kumasi visit, Communications Director for the Fund, Frank Kwabena Owusu, explained that, it is the mandate of the Board to visit all the regions across the country, to project the Fund and put in relevant clarifications to the people on matters relating to the Fund.
According to him, the Board has already visited the Volta Region and would head to another region next month after the visit to the Ashanti Region.
