Zylofon Arts Fund Partners MODUGA to Promote Creative Contents
Zylofon Arts Fund (ZAF), has partnered with the Models Union of Ghana (MODUGA) to promote film, music and other essential creative contents on the market.
The agreement signed on Wednesday, which aims at benefiting both parties, is to highlight and facilitate the sale and distribution of hard copies of made in Ghana movies.
Speaking at the event, the Communication Director of ZAF, Mr Frank Kwabena Owusu said the partnership will portray the uniqueness and sell Ghana’s Creative Talents to the world, overall help both brands in the near future.
“We have guys on the ground and we feel that you as models union can complement the effort of the guys on the ground as well as the distribution outlets across the country with regards to selling of the DVDs and other products we are coming out with,” he stressed.
The long-term agreement is part of the $1 million funds provided by Nana Appiah Mensah to support the arts.
Already, ZAF has some movies ready to hit the market, and they believe MODUGA are the right people to help in getting this movies on the market.
”Our DVD’s have very high quality package, very attractive and with bar codes to be able to monitor wherever the sales are. They are protected and cannot be copied. We feel this is the time to distribute them,” he said.
The President of MODUGA, Lilian Sally Addo, on her part expressed her appreciation to ZAF for the collaboration.
At a time when models in Ghana has been sidelined when it comes to the creative arts industry, she believes it is a great opportunity to make them feel they are part of the industry.
Zylofon Arts Fund (ZAF) has devised a mechanism to revive the distribution model in the film industry, especially for movies it has produced and sponsored in the short spate of time.
Already, they have presented cheques to some beneficiaries of the Arts Fund, after going through an intense process.
