Former Ghanaian Disc jockey, MC, Media Personality, born Victor Kpakpo Addo Jnr ,popularly known in the showbiz circle as Rev Azigiza Jnr has been assigned a new position at one of Ghana’s leading business companies, Zylofon Cash.
He has been appointed as the Brand Ambassador for Zylofon cash , a Sub Embodiment of Nana Appiah Mensah, CEO of Menzgold and Zylofon Media, including many others.
This special event took place at the Zylofon Cash headquarters yesterday August 3, 2018 at Airport Area. Rev Azigiza Jnr was unveiled as Brand Ambassador for Zylofon cash together with the launching of Ghana’s most creative child ( GMCC), as well as Zylofon Cash Soccer Star, other initiatives of the entity.
Zylofon Cash serves as a digital platform where varied contents are viewed for free which has over the period changed the face of digital contents and monetization in the digital world.
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, the National Co-Ordinator for Zylofon Cash, Mr Gabriel Kwabla Kwamigah said the occasion marks a very important day for Zylofon Cash.
According to him, Zylofon Cash is aimed at producing profits for people’s creative pieces being it a musician , poet,comedian, Beat maker and many more with the task and concern to help one make good money out of creative talent.
”Zylofon Cash serves as a free to view mega library with a wide range of content, and has within this few months carved a niche for itself by remaining the number one brand where there is no Click Per View before you monetize your creativity.For this reason, we believe that the time is ripe for the brand to have an icon, or an ambassador who will represent the Zylofon Cash brand on all occasions both within and outside Ghana”
He continued that , they at Zylofon Cash have taken time and many factors into consideration in order to make the best choice of a personality as the brand ambassador for the noble brand. And upon a careful study of character, integrity, selflessness, a great sense of humor, humility and above all relevance, they decided to appoint Mr. Victor Kpakpo Addo Jnr. known widely as Rev. Azigiza. As the Brand Ambassador.
According to him, Rev. Azigiza duties would include but not limited to a nationwide university tour, promote and champion corporate social responsibilities of the entity, commence a new weekly TV program on Zylofon TV to enhance brand visibility and also use his influence to woo different professionals onto Zylofon Cash online portal.
Within the last few months, Zylofon Cash has Sponsored Students Advancement Global Entrepreneurship (SAGE GHANA) made up of Methodist Girls, Mamfe and Aduman Senior High Schoolto Durban, South Africa for SAGE world cup and as well Sponsored Akwamuman SHS Drama club to South Africa.
BIOGRAPHY OF REV. AZIGAZA
Rev. Azigiza is an author, pastor, multimedia consultant, tv presenter, content creator, inspirational speaker; entrepreneur, a mentor & a husband to one wife (Trudy) for 16 years and has two children (Jaydee & Janelle).
Rev. Azigiza was once a dancer, later became Africa’s number 1 DJ, a Musician and a former radio presenter on Joy FM. He has gained so much experience in life and this makes him versatile and effective as a person.
Rev Azigiza’s story is a familiar one but for those with no idea, here is a refresher. In the 90s, Azigiza Junior was the ‘ish’ like they say. He was on top of his game as a DJ (he played at big nightclubs in Accra like Miracle Mirage, the Golden Egg and Glenns) and a radio presenter on Joy FM where he hosted programmes like Joy Beach Jam as well as Guinness Music for Your Dancing Feet on GTV, Video Vibes and the Azigiza Show.
In 1993, he was crowned the Best DJ on the continent. He was also a successful singer with hit songs like Me Do Wo Abena, Kponkpa and Wo Y3 Bia which featured Tic Tac.
The particpants of Azigiza Mentor are varied and include students, career men and women and anybody above 18 who wants some direction in life.
Currently an Associate Pastor with Living Streams International where he has been for the last 15 years, Rev Azigiza feels fulfilled trying to steer people right.
In weeks ago, Rev Azigiza launched his book titled And So What which chronicles his rise, his fall and rise again to life specifically obtaining hope for younger generation.
The title alone gives an indication that this is a book that will impact people’s lives. He has been married to his wife, Gertrude who he affectionately calls Trudy for 16 years and credits her for holding him up.
