Zylofon, Stonebwoy Make Peace
Business Magnet, Nana Appiah Mensah, the Chief Executive Officer of Zylofon Media has publicly apologized to one of his artistes, Stonebwoy, for a violent fracas between a worker of the company and the artiste over the weekend.
The fracas which was sparked by an attempt by the said worker to take back from Stonebwoy, a vehicle apparently given him for use by Zylofon, has also been condemned by Nana Appiah Mensah who disclosed that severe sanctions has been taken against the said worker, a transport manager.
“I apologize to team @stonebwoyb and all well-wishers for the unfortunate ill incident that occurred. The transport manager exercised a discretion characterized by reflex and over-exuberance. An act I vehemently condemn and discourage from our society,” he tweeted.
The hullabaloo was birthed at a time speculation were rife that Stonebwoy had parted ways with the Zylofon brand and was on his own.
Facts available to THE PUBLISHER however proves that the record label and artiste management contract between Stonebwoy and Zylofon is still valid and in full force with no cancellation or changes whatsoever.
Even in the heat of the misunderstanding and speculations, at no point did Stonebwoy state categorically that he has abrogated his contract with Zylofon.
So also did no worker of Zylofon, at any time confirm the company was no more working with Stonebwoy.
THE PUBLISHER has also picked hints that the development would spark some reforms at Zylofon Media and the outcome would be in the larger mutual interest of both the brand and Ghana’s creative arts sector.
